The recent killings of 26 CRPF Soldiers by Maoists further question the Home ministry efforts to combat naxalism. Since P Chidambaram took office in Dec 2008, there were series of butchery acts by the extremist groups from Dantewada to Narayanapura. I propose if the local authorities are not capable in cleaning the base, hand over the baston for Army to sweep the area and destroy the anti-government movement.
If this continues, the safety of the common man is in question in these 4 states where maoists threathen to use any means to influence the tribal youth in luring them to take the gun for injustice done to them for all these years. Maoists were not open to have discussions, nor have any agenda henceforth for their fight. Killing innocent ones in guerrilla warfare's will fetch u nothing except 2-days of Front page news. But in order to reach their message, they have to come out in open and talk with the Govt official to resolve the issues. Right from Gandhi, the principle of non-violence he advocated have won many wars across the world, why not try this tool to provide some peace to the tribals held in the mixed fire.
Yes military action must be taken. The motive of maoist has changed completely. They were formed to fight against injustice of the government but today its different.Complete politics going around!!!
