We launched Car Shuffle 6 months ago in Chennai and garnered around 40 customers till now. But this journey has lead to unravel many secrets in administration. The concept of Car Pooling is not new, but with recent surge in gasoline prices bolsters the need for green ways in transportation. So my friends pooled in very well to support this venture from day1.
Quite a few lessons i had learned in recent past which molded me well to challenge the roadblocks. The First lesson was on Team building. It took me almost 6-8 months to form the right team to execute this landmark project. Secondly the focus was on Capital Resource Management. How we manage the flow of money within the company for its smooth operations. The first 2 months we had a cash crunch to run the business, even though it was self sufficient now. Still a long way to go before break even.
Next emphasis would be on the marketing strategies to reach the target market. Hope we increase our customer base to a thousand in 5 years time. Our mobile application will redefine the nature of the intra-city transportation!
