World Cup Fever !

The FIFA World cup is in its last week and much of the drama has taken place in last 3 days. Italy,France and All star England were thrashed without any mercy from the Quarterfinals. The promising team now in action is Paraguay which reached the last 8 for the first time in nearly four decades. Looking forward to see how they will tame the Spaniards who completely chained down the pride of Portugal last week.

It all boils down to this after 56 enthralling matches, when these 8 fight for a piece of Gold trophy on July 11th. Who will they be? If the German 'Paul' prediction of the end of Maradona's dream does have any merit, i am sure Klose and Podolski deserve to lift that heavy metal with pride for their accomplishment beating both ENG & ARG ( Their Arch Rivals since World War I). We also have the South American troupe waiting to get their lost glory, Uruguayan players with already two stars behind their shirts eying for another one, the 5 time winners Brazil looks so disciplined to increase their tally under Dunga's eyes, and little know Paraguay fighting for making history. What if the finals be between the Africa's Last Hope Ghana and Dormant Dutch who both look strong contenders for the title.

Well inspite of all the betting and football crazy analyst's review's, my Semi Final prediction would be Argentine, Netherlands, Spain and Uruguay. And Sunday's Final would be between Spain & Netherlands in which the Dutch will prevail......!!! ( Hope Van persie, the Arsenal stalwart & Kyut of the Red Devils to deliver the goods)
